Hey!

Welcome to this article. I’m super excited to have you here. As you can probably tell, we’ll dive deep into some spiritual healing today. As a Christian, sometimes living and functioning in this world can be a struggle. Trusting in God’s plan can even be harder, because at every turn—if there isn’t temptation, there’s someone getting on your last nerve.

In my personal experience, ever since I graduated high-school, I’ve had a violent streak of what some may refer to as misfortunes. It’s been very challenging remaining positive and finding encouragement in difficult times. I haven’t even been able to catch a break. At every turn, most of what  I’ve experienced is negativity.

However, because I—before anything else, identify a Christian Woman, I must at every turn find strength, embrace my faith, and maintain resilience.

Finding Strength:

When all else fails, and you feel beat down by everything around you. It’s easiest to breakdown, give-up and sometimes pray for death. However, what does God tell us?

Psalm 46:5—“God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.”

Philippians 4:13—“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

Psalm 73:26—“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

From these verses, it’s clear to see that God urges us to find refuge, and strength in him. This advice may seem plain, and confusing—but looking beyond the repetitive rhetoric of trusting God without fully understanding why can indeed seem hopeless.

From this verse, it’s clear to see that even Solomon understood that, understanding and realizing one’s purpose can be quite hard. Embracing your faith

Most times all we can afford to do is fully embrace the Grace of God. There’s not much else we can afford to do. Everything else risks encouraging our already desperate minds—that all else is futile. Sometimes we begin to doubt not just God’s plans but his promises too. Which of course is very dangerous.

If you’ve ever experienced or caught yourself thinking in this manner—don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s common and normal.

Maintain Resilience

Maintaining Resilience during tough times can be difficult. Especially when you feel like you’re alone and overworked. This is common when we’re transitioning through different and unfamiliar stages in life.
God tells us:

Romans 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

This verse clearly gives you—as a Christian; hope that the present struggles you may be facing are nothing compared to the glory and joy you will experience when Christ returns. It is all very much temporary. It’s like a Woman in labor, when her child is on the way she’s in pain and may sometimes be on the brink of giving up; however, once her child comes, she no longer feels the excruciating pain she once felt.

All that is before her sight is her beautiful child. A Wonderful Gift. A blessing from Elohim.
